First Time?

First Time?

Pre Register before Sunday!

Save some time in line on Sunday by preregistering your child(ren) prior to your first visit!

Click here for our easy online registration.  This is just one step in helping to provide a safe environment for your children to have fun!

When you visit for the first time, just head to the KiDS check-in desk, and let our excited volunteers know that you've preregistered!

WHO ATTENDS CITY CHURCH KiDS?

All children (6 weeks old through 5th grade) attend CITYCHURCH KiDS each Sunday! We believe CITYCHURCH KiDS is the best environment for all children to learn about Jesus in a fun and creative way they can understand.

FIRST TIME AT CITY CHURCH KiDS?

You will check in at our New Family Registration line to the left of the KiDS check-in desk. We will meet your family and check your child into our database system. We will ask for the following personal information: family member’s names, children’s names and birthdates, family address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child.

You and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child's sticker tag is to be worn on his or her back. The tag bears a code that is matched to your portion during checkout at the end of the service. After registering your child, one of our KiDS team members will walk you through the KiDS area to your child's classroom. Your family will be introduced to your child's teacher and room volunteers. Every KiDS volunteer is background checked and trained to ensure a safe and secure environment for your child!

After the service, please return to your child’s room for checkout and have your ID tag ready. You will show your tag to your child's classroom teacher, and your child to be released back to you. A child will not be released without a matching ID tag. If you misplace your tag, please see the KiDS check-in desk, and we will be happy to print you a new tag.

On your way home, be sure to ask your child about his or her time in CITYCHURCH KiDS. Some great questions to start are:

 “Did you have fun?”

What did you learn today?

"Can you remember a Bible verse from today?"

A SPECIAL NOTE

If for some reason your child were to need you during the service, your last name and family identification code would appear on the screens in the auditorium. We would ask that you exit the auditorium immediately and look for a staff member who will direct you to your child’s room.

What We Value

What We Value

WHAT WE VALUE

Relationships
We desire for each child to experience a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. We also value children’s relationships within the small group setting as they relate to their small group leader and other children within the group. As families commit to attending the same service each week, children are placed in a group of familiar faces where relationships can grow!

Age Appropriateness
We are passionate about children learning about Jesus in a way they understand. Our environments and lesson materials are created based on the physical, mental and emotional needs of each child.

Safety
We believe that safety is vital as families entrust us with their children each week. Therefore, every child’s name tag is matched to a parent-identification number, every volunteer is screened with an interview and federal background check, and every hallway is monitored with security personnel and cameras.

Creative Bible Teaching
The Bible is the most amazing book ever written! We strive to bring its stories to life through activities and discussions that keep children engaged. We want all children to love God’s word and understand the value of applying it to their lives.

Fun!
Kids love fun! We realize that when children have fun at church, they can’t wait to come back. We value creating fun ways for children to learn about Jesus.

Child Dedications

Child Dedications

Child dedications are a time for parents to commit their children to the church and to raising their children to be followers of Jesus Christ. They are a joint expression of a parent’s desire to raise Godly children and our commitment as a church to empowering parents in that calling.

These events  are a powerful time for parents to embrace the responsibility they’ve been given by God and to catch a vision of the impact they can make in their child’s life. We make these events special by encouraging the whole family to get involved, having some fun, offering family pictures, and occasionally making a dad cry. We want this to be an event parents will always remember.

Child dedication events also provide us with an opportunity to express our commitment to helping families raise God-honoring kids. And we count it an honor to be entrusted with that incredible privilege. We invite all families  to participate in the dedication.
