WHAT ARE EQUIP CLASSES?
Equip Classes are smaller, seminar-style classes that encourage spiritual growth and application, in order to be better equipped to do the work of local church ministry. These classes last about an hour, following a brief time of introduction and announcements. Equip Classes cover a variety of topics related to the Bible, Christian theology, and following Jesus in everyday life.
HOW OFTEN ARE EQUIP CLASSES HELD?
For the summer, Equip Classes are offered as one-time classes, with multiple classes being offered on the same evening. Beginning in fall 2018, Equip Classes will expand into a series format, with some classes being offered weekly over the course of several weeks, while others will continue to be held as classes that meet one time.
WHO ARE EQUIP CLASSES FOR?
Anyone! Equip Classes are suggested for adults of any ages, and are also open to middle and high school students. KiDS programming is provided in City Church KiDS for babies, preschoolers, and elementary-aged children. Equip Classes are not only for those already leading at City Church, but for any man or woman looking to grow in his or her faith and knowledge of God's truths.
hOW CAN I SERVE DURING EQUIP CLASSES?
There are several ways to serve during an evening of Equip Classes! Opportunities include helping with class prep and materials, registration, and serving in City Church KiDS to allow others to experience Equip Classes for the first time.
