THINKING FURTHER

THOUGHTS:
In our world, so often we want to think of ourselves as inherently good. Yet, our own failure to be good and the suffering we see in the world around us, points to a different reality. “No one is good except God alone.” As a result, all our world in striving with the effects of what sin has done.

Prayer Focus:
As we enter the final week before Easter, we reflect one last time on our journey from creation, to corruption, to redemption and finally reconciliation and eternal life with God. A Holy God, followed by a fallen world has been the starting point each week. Let us acknowledge first our state in the light of God’s holiness. Let us thank him for the eternal life to come, the life we find in Jesus.
